Vex Hosting Refund Policy

At Vex Hosting, transparency is important to us, so we openly display our payment gateway rates. For every transaction, we incur approximately a 3% + $0.50 fee (rounded up), which affects how refunds are processed. Refunds are based on the amount after deducting these fees, handled through PayPal and Stripe, our current payment gateways.

Here’s our updated refund policy:

  • Refund Eligibility:

    • You have a 24-hour window to request a refund for the first month of service (as well as a 3 day window for credit refunds), provided the purchase is not on our blacklist. For subsequent payments, you can request a credit refund within 3 days.
    • Blacklisted services include:
      • Any purchase of $1.00 or less
      • Any dedicated machine
      • Any purchase that isn’t automated
      • All addons are non-refundable
    • Upgrades & Downgrades are refundable through billing portal credits.
  • Valid Reasons for Refund:

    • Not wanting the product anymore
    • Unable to pay anymore
    • Did not feel like the service was as advertised
  • Non-Refundable Scenarios:

    • Breaking Vex Hosting terms of service (no refund provided)
    • Breaking the terms of service of the game or service you are hosting (e.g., Minecraft: no refund provided)

Credit refunds can be processed via email or through support tickets on the billing portal. Remember, if you open a ticket within the 3-day window after subsequent payments, you’re still entitled to a refund.
